Western Red Cedar Grilling Planks
Create restaurant quality salmon, pork chops, poultry, and vegetables with organic Western Red Cedar grilling planks. The Pacific Northwest is renowned for the spicy and fragrant smoke of cedar. The aromatic and full-bodied flavor is what creates delicious cedar planked salmon.

Perfect Plank Size and Thickness
The best size plank for grilling a long piece of salmon is the 15" length because it allows a full piece of salmon, or multiple smaller pieces. The most important feature of a cedar grilling plank is the thickness. 3/8" thick is ideal because it allows the food to cook quickly without the plank burning.

Our competitors use 0.20" (1/5") thick planks, which are about half the thickness of our planks. These thin planks from our competitors will burn quickly and could ruin the food. We've also seen 1/2" thick planks, which take longer to cook the food. Through testing, we've determined people prefer 3/8" thick grilling planks for perfectly cooked food.
